Last but not least!  How can anyone miss Marilyn!

We long to see her – Marilyn Monroe.  And can’t wait to see how Michelle Williams portrays Marilyn’s body, mind, heart and soul, one of Hollywood’s brightest, yet most tragic stars.

My Week With Marilyn is the moving, cinematically inspired true story of a young man named Colin Clark as third assistant director - on the set of The Prince and the Showgirl  starring and directed by Laurence Olivier and co-starring the most famous and desirable woman in the world, the one and only Marilyn Monroe.  He took copious notes and logged every detail in his diaries, which were finally published in the form of a 1995 memoir called The Prince, the Showgirl, and Me and expanded into a second book called My Week With Marilyn.

“What is it like to be the most famous woman on earth?” Let us know what’s your thoughts if get to see it!

The past week, VERSACE X H&M launched at H&M.   The gentleman style journal - Fantastic Man  recently showing three vintage VERSACE publications from their archive.  It’s Monday today and we are here to share it, constitute a start of week of amazing amazingness.

Blow is the cover of the premiere (and perhaps only) issue of VERSACE: The Magazine,  Autumn & Winter 2002, edited and published by Ms. DONATELLA VERSACE herself:

menswear looks from GIANNI’s Les sans-cravate, the French pocket version of the 1995 coffee-table book Men Without Ties:

Too much about women vintage style? CAROLE FORÊT VINTAGE has been trying to collect more of men’s vintage and trust us, it’s not easy to find great pieces for men.   For the moment before the launch of Mens vintage pieces, we share some of the thoughts from Another Magazine.   It recently talks about Menswear Vintage Style from Jean Genet.

“If Genet’s friend and supporter Jean Cocteau and his milieu were originally responsible for the introduction of “sailor style” – the striped Breton T-shirt and red pompom hat – it is Genet and his character Querelle of Best, played by Brad Davis in Fassbinder’s 1982 film, with a poster designed by Warhol, who made it iconic.” – AnOther Magazine, issue 19.

Besides such an amazing Pop culture forward project, we certainly love the looks of Eva Green and Kate Moss in Dazed & Confused’s 20th Anniversary celebrations.

They are both part of the the 20 + 20 COVERS PROJECT BY RANKIN.

feel the power of the red lips, dark hair and the look into your eyes

OUR STYLE NOTE:  Go simple.  Go Black, in clothes, hair, eyeliners with nude makeup.  Just go simple red lips will get you the powerful yet feminine look.  Get only one or two pieces of accessories for such look.  Remember, go simple.

We love W Magazine!   For it’s style and guts in fashion.  The December issue of W Magazine taps actresses and sisters, Dakota and Elle Fanning, for its cover shoot lensed by Mario Sorrenti.

The sister playing dress up in haute couture garments from labels such as Chanel, Dior, Givenchy and Valentino selected by style editor Lori Goldstein.

Our Style Note:  the blonde beauties wow in vintage lace, sparkling vintage styled gems and soft makeup.  Stylish with a vintage romance.  We especially likes the cover top and their earrings.

CAROLE FORÊT VINTAGE’s Pearl and Crystal floral Earrings and it’s Mother of Pearl Pendant can create style alike.
